I’d had years of being told I was thick and stupid, and it was ingrained. I wanted you to give me a magic wand and fix everything because I thought that was what therapy was. I soon realised you weren’t going to do that. Instead, you were calm and positive, and you helped me see my strengths and gifts and what I had to offer to others. This gave me back my sense of purpose, and I feel I belong again.

We can’t thank Paula enough for her support to our son who was going through a difficult time at school which was transpiring in difficult behaviour at home.
Not only did Paula get to know him personally but she went out of her way to research and engage with his love of football. This showed such dedication and care shown for an individual pupil. He learnt life skills for self-regulation, ways to overcome fears and handling relationships.
Knowing Paula was looking out for our child at school gave us comfort whilst we were going through a difficult time. As a family, we can’t thank her enough. Paula is an inspiration to all the families and children she supports. We all need a Paula in our lives!!

Meeting Paula has been such a turn in my life. Paula was kind and considerate not only to me but to each and every child in the school i worked in. There were some days I just wanted to cry as I was working 52 hours and Paula would sit me down and tell me how well I was doing and keep going with my degree as I'd make an amazing teacher.
I remember Paula saying to me 'as you get older Jodie you will realise who and what is important. This bit of advice has stuck with me and if I find myself in a position where I feel I'm being put down or uncomfortable I remember this!

When I messaged Paula 6 weeks ago I was at my lowest point and didn't really believe I could carry on. I felt isolated and life was just too much to bear. Paula messaged me and came to my home that day to talk to me. I instantly felt I had someone I could talk to who listened to me and made me feel as if everything I had experienced was not my fault. I have always felt I'm not good enough. I am beginning to love life again.
Paula listens, she is so caring and supportive and I really don't know where I would be today had she not come to see me that day. Without all your help I don’t think I would of been able to do as much travelling as I have done, because I used to have all those thoughts and anxieties. I am happy to confirm I haven’t had any whilst travelling, or really at all before I left. This has helped and changed me in many ways!!
